HOW TO KNOW IF CHILD IS FACING ANY BEHAVIOR Or ISSUES?

Determining whether or not your child is experiencing depression or anxiety is difficult. Kids experience complex feelings just like adults. They get frustrated, excited, nervous, sad, jealous, frightened, worried,angry and embarrassed.CHILDREN express their feelings through facial expressions, through their body, their behavior and play. If child struggles with intense emotional reactions, disruptions in mood or behavior ,or is easily set off by minor triggers,then they need assistance.”WARNING SIGNS INCLUDE ANY SUDDEN CHANGE IN MOOD OR BEHAVIOUR,OR IF CHILD IS FACING DIFFICULTY IN DOING DAY TO DAY TASKS ,CHILD NEEDS HELP.

WHEN TO TAKE AN ACTION:

A. If a child ‘s behaviour is causing chronic trouble in school,at home, disturbing family life it’s important to take a help.Disruptive behaviour can be generated by anxiety,trauma ,frustrations from undiagnosed problems.
 
B.A child who is excessively FEARFUL could become an adolescent whose identity and social life are structured around avoiding things that make them anxious.
 
C.Eating disorders for longer time in children creates long term problem in a child which can be difficult to recover.
 
D. If child is hurting herself time and again,it can be a dangerous behaviour which needs help immediately.

Due to emerging concept of NUCLEAR FAMILIES , children are going away from moral values, missing grandparents story times.

TYPES OF BEHAVIOURAL AND EMOTIONAL ISSUES IN CHILDREN:

DEFIANCE; It includes Attention Deficit Hyperactivity disorder(ADHD),Conduct Disorder(CD),Oppositional Defiant Disorder(ODD).
 
ODD-most commonly happen in boys then girls.problems comprising of Easily angered,annoyed, frequent temper tantrums ,refuses to obey rules etc
CD-common problem involved lack of empathy for others,being aggressive against animals ,other other people, frequent lying, criminal behaviour like stealing, destructive mind
ADHD- commonly seen problems include difficulty in concentration, forgetting instructions,moving from one task to another without completing anything, impulsiveness, constant restlessness, repeated violations of rules.
 
BEHAVIOUR ISSUES IN CHILDREN CAN LEAD TO STRESS AND FRUSTRATION FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY.
 

TIPS TO HANDLE BEHAVIOUR ISSUES IN CHILDREN;

A.Don’t react; when you react or respond to your child’s bad behaviour,you are encouraging her.
B.Stay positive;When you consider your child as a problem,you cannot find effective ways to deal with his behaviour.
C.Be consistent;In your reaction or responses to your child’s behaviour.Give same responses to their conduct.
D.It is okay to change the old habits like cutting down TV ,video game time or other activities.
E.Be a role model;Children of all ages learn by observation and imitate you because they assume that there parents know the best.
F.Disciplinary is necessary; it is effective only when it is valid.
G.Relax: Don’t worry too much about usual yelling, arguments and defiance.
H.Use child BEHAVIOUR CHART for rewarding of Good behaviour.
I.Introduction of ACTIVITIES like exercise,role playing,ask your child to read aloud,story telling,telling them about good deeds,kindness,sharing saying nice things to others.
